A few weeks ago my sisters, mom and I took a little girls trip down to sunny California. Boy was it what the doctor ordered - Relaxing, rejuvenating, and exciting. This trip we were able to go to San Diego and visit the beautiful sites around there. Not to mention we got to visit family that we have not seen since Christmas.
We took a walk every morning on the beach, went to the playground, ate good food, laid on the beach and shopped till we dropped. Basically every girls dream.
We had our little buddy with us who provided constant entertainment and laughs. Not a dull moment when he is around. We love our Tucker boy!
Tucker loved his sunnies. Whether it was light or dark outside he always had "sunny eyes" and needed his glasses. He would push them up onto his head to get a good look at things. Man he kills us!
Everything just seems so much prettier in California!
Check out my babe model sister. Seriously she is beautiful!

We got to stop by the San Diego temple on Sunday which was fun because I had never seen it in person. It is such a stunning temple. Literally a castle. Even more beautiful than I imagined.
Some people started talking in a different language and it caught Tucker so off guard. He just stared at them in awe wondering what in the world they were saying. Of course he has his Mickey. That goes with us no matter where we are!
One day we were sitting on our deck enjoying the rays when all of the sudden we heard a terrible scream which led to constant yelling. Come to discover a man was riding his back and ran into the curb turfed it. When an accident happens in Oceanside everyone shows up. Literally. There were three fire trucks, four cop cars, lifeguards, two ambulance and countless beach spectators. The guy stood up, hopped in the car and drove away! It was quite humorous.
Yes we count as two of the spectators. We couldn't miss out on the excitement!
Just one of the amazing views near our beach house.
Tucker boy and Mimi. Check out that bed head!
A trip is not complete without a visit to Ruby's Diner for some cinnamon roll french toast and of course a side of fries for our boy!
Just a few more snapshots of our favorite little human.
We were asked while taking this shot if we had to do a project for "school" and it had to be "artsy." Then were left with the comment, "man I hate that." Not sure what the lady was going for, but it must have been a rough day for her.
So...I will leave you with an artsy picture and hope you enjoy it. We had so much fun on our vacation and are already antsy to get back.
We will see you in July sunny California!

So fun! I'm glad you had a great trip Morgan! :)
